Three Killed, Five Injured as Bandits Attack Kano Community
Three people were killed and five others injured after suspected bandits attacked Chiromawa community in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State on Saturday night. The attackers reportedly entered the community at about 10:30 p.m. and opened fire, causing panic among residents. Residents, vigilantes and police personnel mobilised to confront the attackers and protect the community. The Sarkin Noma of Kano State, Alhaji Yusuf Chiromawa, was reportedly rescued during the attack. The council chairman directed that the injured receive urgent medical care and urged residents to share credible information with security agencies.
