Wike’s Son Denies $2.1m Land Deal, Alleges Forged Signature in Court
Jordan Ezenwo Nyesom-Wike, son of the FCT Minister, has denied involvement in an alleged $2.1 million land deal before an FCT High Court. He told the court that the signature on documents linked to the transaction was forged. Jordan said he neither received money from the claimants nor had dealings with a man identified as Onor Sandy. He also said he was outside Nigeria on September 26, 2025, the date the claimants alleged the cash was delivered. The claimants allege that Jordan agreed to help them acquire 60 hectares of land in Katampe and Guzape, Abuja. They claim that $2 million was allegedly meant for the FCT Minister and $100,000 for Jordan. The court adjourned the matter to December 1, 2 and 14, 2026, for continuation of trial.
