Dangote Refinery Says Nine-Month EBITDA Has Exceeded $5.5 Billion
Aliko Dangote says the Dangote Refinery generated more than $5.5 billion in EBITDA in the first nine months of 2026, putting it on course to exceed its full-year target of about $7.2 billion. The refinery reported $2.6 billion in EBITDA for the first half. This suggests third-quarter EBITDA of roughly $2.9 billion, supported by strong diesel and jet-fuel margins and a record processing rate of 736,470 barrels per day in August. Dangote told investors during the refinery's IPO roadshow that subscriptions had exceeded the shares on offer by three to four times. The figures remain unaudited, and margins could fall if disruptions to Iranian and Russian fuel supplies ease.
