2027: Do Nigerians Vote Differently From What They Say Online?

As 2027 begins to dominate political conversations, I keep wondering why many Nigerians say they are unhappy with the government and major parties, yet those same parties continue to win elections in many places. Do people vote differently in private from how they speak online? How much does vote buying influence election results, and do voters who collect money always support the candidate who paid them? When elections are disputed, are we sometimes too quick to blame rigging? Or are there parts of the electoral process that ordinary voters do not get to see? If you were choosing your ideal candidate for 2027, what would matter most: security, cost of living, jobs, electricity, corruption, electoral integrity, or competence? I would like to hear from people who have voted in several elections. No party propaganda, please.
