GTCO Shareholder Urges Management to Address Customer Complaints and Protect Trust
I am writing as an Abuja-based entrepreneur, investor and GTCO shareholder. I am proud of the group’s growth, financial strength and international ambition, but I believe public trust must remain its most valuable asset. Customer complaints about disputed debits, service charges, failed transactions, delayed reversals and poor complaint resolution deserve serious attention. These are allegations that should be investigated fairly, not dismissed. For millions of customers, even small unexplained deductions can cause real hardship and weaken confidence in the bank. I urge GTCO to conduct a thorough customer-experience review, resolve complaints faster, explain legitimate charges clearly and refund customers promptly where errors occurred. Fintech platforms are competing aggressively for everyday customers, and better service is the strongest way for GTCO to retain the trust it has built over decades.
