Bandits Kill Sokoto Job Applicants Returning From Screening

Armed bandits reportedly intercepted a commercial vehicle carrying passengers from Sokoto city to Isa Local Government Area and killed the occupants. Some of the victims were said to be among 3,000 Sokoto State Government recruits who had attended a screening and document-collection exercise in the state capital. The number and identities of those killed have not been officially confirmed. A conflict reporter who shared the account also posted photographs said to show some of the victims.
