DisCos Collect N203.61bn in April, 80.66% Collection Efficiency – NERC

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission reports that DisCos generated N203.61 billion from customers in April, out of N252.43 billion billed. Collection efficiency rose to 80.66 per cent, up 1.07 points from the previous month. Billing efficiency slipped slightly to 83.32 per cent. Industry revenue recovery stood at 82.11 per cent, with actual collections of N102.13 per kWh versus the allowed tariff of N124.39 per kWh. Eko DisCo (102.09 %), Abuja DisCo (89.77 %) and Ikeja DisCo (88.89 %) led the league in revenue recovery efficiency for April.
