He said only the Independent National Electoral Commission has the legal authority to declare winners. However, citizens can observe results, cross-check figures uploaded to the IReV portal and compile their own records. Oseni cited past technical and administrative failures, including issues with the result-viewing portal and the disputed 2023 Adamawa governorship declaration. He called on INEC to promptly upload polling-unit result forms and collation sheets to support public verification and transparency.
