Kano Man Pleads Guilty to Assaulting Woman Over ₦10 Change
A man in Kura Local Government Area, Kano State, has pleaded guilty to assaulting a married woman after a dispute over ₦10 change from a snack purchase. He allegedly entered her home and beat her after paying ₦100 for a snack that cost ₦90. The woman told the court that the assault left her needing hospital treatment, including intravenous fluids. She also said her phone and some money went missing while people gathered to help her. The case was heard at Magistrate Court No. 44 in Kura. The magistrate adjourned it until November 19, 2026, for judgment.
