Hertfordshire Police Reopen Sex Abuse Probe Into Influencer Andrew Tate
Hertfordshire Constabulary has decided to reopen an investigation into alleged sex abuse and rape offences reported by three women between 2014 and 2015. The original inquiry closed in 2019 after four years of work. The Independent Office for Police Conduct is now examining whether detectives mishandled the case. Two former supervisors face misconduct probes alongside a detective constable under review. In a joint statement, the women said they simply want their reports and evidence fully and fairly considered. Tate’s legal team continues to deny all allegations as unproven and false. A civil trial is scheduled for June, and separate extradition and criminal proceedings remain ongoing.
