US Lobbying Firm Claims Tinubu’s Bid for Trump’s Re-election Support Failed

US-based policy advisory and lobbying firm Von Batten-Montague-York has alleged that the Nigerian Presidency failed in efforts to secure US President Donald Trump’s support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election. In a statement posted on X, the firm claimed that a proposed meeting between Tinubu and Trump during the United Nations gathering would no longer take place. It also alleged that an effort to arrange a White House meeting had failed. The firm further accused Tinubu’s advisers of reacting negatively to its claims about an alleged multimillion-dollar lobbying campaign. The Presidency had not been represented in the statement provided.
