Amaechi Says He Will Quit Partisan Politics if Tinubu Wins Re-election in 2027

ADC presidential running mate Rotimi Amaechi says he will retire from partisan politics if President Bola Tinubu and the APC win the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the ADC National Women League Conference in Abuja on 30 September 2026, Amaechi urged party leaders to return to their states and mobilise voters against the APC. He said many senior ADC figures would be politically finished by an APC victory. Amaechi also asked party members to target at least 2,000 votes from each ward.
