Ooni Says Tinubu’s Economic Policies Are Aimed at Reducing Poverty

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, says President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies are intended to reduce poverty and ease hardship across Nigeria. Speaking at the unveiling of CreditCorp’s National Mobility Programme at his palace, the monarch said the administration’s policies had helped revive the economy. He pointed to growth in the capital market, improved foreign reserves and greater stability in the foreign-exchange market. The Ooni said these developments could help businesses and individuals plan better, adding that the government’s programmes were designed to improve Nigerians’ economic wellbeing.
