2027: APC Is Not Our Enemy, Dickson Says as NDC Unveils Campaign Council

Senator Seriake Dickson says the All Progressives Congress is not the enemy of the Nigeria Democratic Congress despite their political differences. After the NDC inaugurated its National Campaign Council in Abuja, Dickson called for peaceful, issue-based campaigns ahead of the 2027 general election. He said Nigerians should be free to decide which party deserves their mandate. The former Bayelsa governor challenged the APC to defend its record in office, asking whether Nigerians are safer and better off since the party took power in 2015. He also urged INEC and security agencies to protect the credibility of the election. The party also held a NEC meeting, opened its national secretariat and unveiled its campaign council, with Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and other leaders in attendance.
