Tinubu’s Deloitte Credentials Questioned on Al Jazeera — Why No Response?

Daniel Bwala’s appearance on Al Jazeera’s Head to Head with Mehdi Hasan turned into an international embarrassment for President Tinubu’s administration. Hasan directly challenged Tinubu’s past, claiming there is no record of him ever working at Deloitte despite frequent references to that role. Since the episode aired, the Nigerian government has not issued a single statement. There has been no clarification, no rebuttal and no evidence presented to counter Hasan’s allegation. If Hasan misrepresented the facts, why hasn’t the presidency corrected him? If the claim is false, why not easily debunk it with documents? Or are Nigerians supposed to ignore millions of viewers who just heard that serious charge? At this point, we must ask: who exactly is Bola Ahmed Tinubu? And why do every international discussion about his background end with more doubts than answers?
