Lagos LG Polls: Prince Victor Joins Council Race
By Editor. 11 October 2024 | 06:53pm Ahead of the forthcoming Lagos State local government council election, a staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Victor, the founder of VLink Telecom Hub, has declared his interest to contest for Councillor, Ikate council ward. In a statement, Prince, a former ward coordinator of Atiku Support Group, promised to serve with integrity, transparency, and a deep commitment to good governance. He further noted that his mission for Ikate council ward is to attract more development at the grassroots, stressing that his ambition is not born out of selfishness but out of passion for development. The Media director for a PDP National Youth Leader Aspirant, Hon. Abdulrahman Mohammed Jamiu, stated that he is not presenting himself because he possess a magic wand to change the narrative or because he is the most intelligent but because he has the expertise and possess the experience to proffer solutions and changes. The upcoming local government elections in Lagos State is scheduled for 2025. Prince said: “My message is simple: – Our communities should be safe, and our environment clean. – Our roads, parks, and drainage systems must be maintained. – Education should be prioritised, and healthcare must be affordable and accessible. – Businesses should be supported, and local jobs secured for our youth. – Government processes should be simplified, and services brought closer to the people. “I promise to serve with integrity, transparency, and a deep commitment to good governance. I will ensure that local government decisions benefit our community and that I work tirelessly to meet the needs of our people, promote sustainable development, and build a united and thriving ward. Prince called for support, stating that it is time to change the narrative and time for a new norm in the governamce of ikate ward.
