Police Arrest Five Suspects After Human Eyes Are Recovered in Bauchi
Zone 12 Police Intelligence Unit in Bauchi has arrested five suspects after two human eyes and materials allegedly linked to ritual activities were recovered during an operation on 26 August 2026. Police said white and red cloths, along with other items, were found with the suspects. They remain in custody while investigators work to identify the source of the recovered organs and possible accomplices. The Assistant Inspector-General of Police condemned the alleged act and urged residents to report suspicious activity to the nearest police station. The suspects are expected to be charged after investigations are completed.
