Claims Emerge That Minab School Was Located Near IRGC Military Facilities
Reports allege that Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab was located within or beside an Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy security area when it was hit by US missiles on February 28. The strike reportedly killed about 156 people, including children, teachers and parents. Critics say the school remained open despite ongoing attacks in the area, leaving pupils exposed to danger. A regime-aligned academic working with victims’ families allegedly said officials later questioned why parents enrolled their children at the school despite nearby military facilities. Iranian authorities have not publicly addressed the allegations about the school’s location, its continued operation during the strikes or the treatment of bereaved families.
