Oyo Police Arrest Two Suspects Over Cannabis Parcels Hidden Inside Car Tyre
Police in Oyo State have arrested two suspected drug peddlers after recovering eight parcels of substances believed to be cannabis, popularly called Canadian Loud, concealed inside a car tyre. The Oyo State Police Command said the arrests followed intelligence about alleged drug-related activity at a vulcaniser’s shop. Officers from the Anti-Narcotics Section reportedly moved to the location and recovered the parcels with the vulcaniser’s assistance. Police also recovered a vulcanising machine allegedly used to conceal the parcels. The suspects are said to be assisting investigators and will be charged after the investigation is concluded. The command said it is working to identify other members of the alleged network and urged residents to provide credible information on criminal activity.
