Enugu Police Arrest Suspect Over Alleged ₦200,000 POS Robbery

Police in Enugu State have arrested a 28-year-old man over the alleged armed robbery of a female POS operator in Obollo-Afor, Udenu Local Government Area. The victim was reportedly robbed of ₦200,000 at her shop along Old Orba Road, Uhulor, on October 17. Police said she raised an alarm as the suspect fled and allegedly threatened to shoot anyone who tried to pursue him. Operatives of the Udenu Police Division, supported by neighbourhood watch members, arrested the suspect the following day. Police said a pistol resembling a Beretta and an expended 9mm ammunition shell were recovered. The suspect is expected to be charged to court after investigations are completed.
