2027: Pat Utomi Says APC Is Taking Nigeria Backwards, Urges Voters to Act

Political economist and former presidential candidate Prof. Pat Utomi says Nigeria is regressing under the APC-led government, pointing to the loss of citizens’ purchasing power and the rising cost of goods that were once affordable. In a post on social media, Utomi compared stagnation with regression. He said stagnation would mean a person could afford a newer car after 10 years, while regression would mean they could no longer afford the older model they once could. Utomi said Nigeria was losing ground rather than standing still. He urged Nigerians to use their votes to change the country’s direction and said removing leaders he considers incompetent and corrupt is a national responsibility.
