Anambra SASA Destroys Seized Drugs in Onitsha, Warns Dealers to Stay Away
The Anambra State Special Anti-Touting Squad (SASA) has destroyed illicit drugs seized from Onitsha and surrounding areas during enforcement operations. The substances destroyed at Upper Iweka included cocaine, cannabis, tramadol, Ghanaian Loud and methamphetamine, locally known as Mkpurummiri. SASA Managing Director Monday Nwokoye said the operation reflects the state’s intensified crackdown on drug abuse, street touting and youth violence. He urged residents to provide useful information on drug-related activities and warned drug dealers to desist from the trade.
