Osun Poll: Deputy Governor Adewusi Raises Alarm Over Faulty BVAS in Ile-Ife

Osun Poll: Deputy Governor Adewusi Raises Alarm Over Faulty BVAS in Ile-Ife

Osun Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi says a malfunctioning BVAS device delayed voter accreditation at his polling unit in Ile-Ife during the governorship election. Adewusi voted at Ilode Ward 1, Unit 001, at Enuwa Square in Ife East Local Government Area. He said voters, electoral officials and security personnel arrived early, but the faulty device slowed the process. He urged INEC to replace the machine or deploy a backup device quickly so eligible voters can be accredited and vote without unnecessary delays. Voting is taking place across Osun State's 30 local government areas.
