Asake and Seun Kuti Submit Six Works for 2027 Grammy Consideration

Asake and Seun Kuti have submitted a combined six works for consideration at the 2027 Grammy Awards. Both artistes are seeking recognition in the Best African Music Performance category. Asake submitted his album, M$NEY, for Album of the Year and Best Global Music Album. His songs Gratitude, Jogodo with Wizkid, and Worship featuring DJ Snake were also entered in several categories, including Best African Music Performance and Best Dance Pop Recording. Seun Kuti submitted Na Dem and Problems for Best African Music Performance. These are submissions, not nominations. The Recording Academy is expected to announce the nominees on November 16, 2026, ahead of the awards ceremony in February 2027.
