Paul Okotie Mobilises Deltans to Back Oborevwori, Diden and Ereyitomi in Upcoming Elections
On Sunday, 8 March 2025, the Delta Democratic Platform (DDP) and EPU held a grassroots mobilisation at Morogun Primary School in Warri. Community leaders, women’s groups, youths and residents turned out in large numbers to hear strategic calls for civic engagement. Comrade Paul Okotie, the movement’s coordinator, urged attendees to stay united and politically conscious as Delta State approaches the next election cycle. He stressed that real power lies with the people and encouraged voters to support leaders committed to development and good governance. Okotie praised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his early achievements and highlighted emerging figures Michael Diden (Ejele) for the Senate and Ereyitomi Thomas for the House of Representatives. He called on grassroots supporters to rally behind the trio when polls open. Participants described the event as more than a political gathering—it was a pledge to deepen community outreach, sustain voter mobilisation and build a stronger Delta State through informed democratic participation.
