Trump Criticises Zelensky After Ukrainian Drone Strike on Russian Oil Facility
US President Donald Trump criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky after Ukrainian forces reportedly launched long-range drone strikes on energy infrastructure in Saint Petersburg. Trump said attacks deep inside Russia could complicate efforts to keep Moscow involved in peace talks. Zelensky, however, warned that easing US sanctions on Russia could strengthen Moscow’s war effort. Russian authorities said more than 1,000 drones were intercepted across several regions. Ukrainian officials said contact with US envoys was continuing as discussions over a possible peace framework continued.
