ADC’s Olarenwaju Demands Sack of Tinubu’s Chief of Staff Over Alleged Scam

Demola Olarenwaju, senior political aide to ADC candidate Atiku Abubakar, says President Tinubu’s Chief of Staff must be sacked over an alleged appointment-for-cash scandal. Adeniyi Matthew, who claims to be director-general of a presidential agency, accused Gbajabiamila of demanding ₦27.4bn and taking ₦400m through proxies. The presidency dismissed the allegation, saying it knows nothing of the agency or accuser. Olarenwaju argued that Gbajabiamila showed either gross negligence or connivance. He said the chief of staff should be removed for failing in due diligence or prosecuted if he colluded in the fraud.

I notice these allegations surfaced right after Adeniyi's accusations, which makes the timing and motive feel suspect.

Rather than demanding immediate sack, supporters should file a formal petition with anti-corruption agencies and push for transparent investigation.
