Oyo Government Demolishes Ibadan Kidnapper Hideout After Adelabu’s Sister Rescue
Oyo State officials tore down a three-bedroom bungalow in Lako Community along Aiyegun-Anaye Road, Ibadan. The property served as a hideout for suspects linked to the kidnapping of Chief Bayo Adelabu’s younger sister and her children. Members of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation led the demolition on Monday. They were joined by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force as part of ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping and related crimes in the state. The victims—Mrs Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul and her 12-year-old twins, Peter and Paul—were abducted on June 3 in the Challenge area of Ibadan and rescued three days later on June 6.
