26-Year-Old Nigerian Arrested After Deadly Shooting Spree in Georgia
Olaolukitan Adon Abel was arrested on April 14, 2026, in DeKalb County, Georgia, after three separate shootings. Police say the first victim, a woman found with multiple gunshot wounds, died at the hospital. Shortly after, a man believed to be unhoused was shot outside a Kroger store and is now in critical condition. Hours later, 40-year-old Lauren Bullis was found dead with gunshot and stab wounds. Abel faces two counts of malice murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during a felony and being a felon with a gun. Court records also cite past convictions for assaulting an officer and sexual battery. Investigators are still probing the motive and any links to the victims.
