Atiku Urges Nigerians to Vote and Guard Ballots in 2027, Alleges APC Is Buying Voter Cards

Atiku Abubakar has alleged that APC members are visiting villages in northern Nigeria to buy voters’ cards and manipulate the 2027 election. He made the claim on Wednesday in Sokoto at the flag-off of the ADC presidential campaign, where he urged Nigerians to vote in large numbers and protect their ballots. Atiku said Sokoto was chosen for the campaign launch because of its historical and religious significance. He also promised that an ADC government would tackle insecurity, reopen land borders and make Hajj and Christian pilgrimages more affordable. He offered condolences to families affected by attacks across the country. At the rally, Sokoto campaign coordinator Senator Ibrahim Lamido urged supporters to mobilise and vote for ADC candidates.
