UK Reality Star and Football Club Owner Charged with Rape and Human Trafficking

Reality TV star and non-league football club owner Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 57, and his husband Scott Drewitt-Barlow, 32, have been charged with multiple serious offences following an Essex police raid. Detectives from the Serious Crime Directorate executed coordinated warrants at properties in Danbury, Maldon and Braintree on May 6. Both men, who live in Southwood Chase, Danbury, were arrested as part of a major investigation. They face charges including rape, sexual assault and modern slavery trafficking for sexual exploitation. The pair are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on May 8. Detective Inspector Lydia George, who is leading the inquiry, has urged anyone with information to come forward via the Major Incident Public Portal.
