Amadeo Event Centre Explains Dispute Over NDC Town Hall Booking in Enugu
Amadeo Event Centre has denied claims that it blocked an NDC town hall meeting in Enugu on government orders. The venue said its only booking was made by a healthcare association for a national meeting and conference. According to the management, decorators arrived on October 28 with political-party materials, which it said breached the terms of the original booking. The centre said it initially withdrew the right to use the venue but later allowed the gathering to continue after organisers described it as a youth town hall meeting with Peter Obi. The management also denied inviting police or receiving instructions from the Enugu State Government. It said it does not permit its facilities to be used for political activities and described the dispute as a contractual matter.
