Why I Believe Tinubu Campaigning Faces an Uphill Battle in the South-East
I believe anyone campaigning for Tinubu in the South-East is wasting time and resources. Even major publicity efforts will not change what I see as deep opposition to his politics in the region. In my view, the South-East has often made political choices based on its assessment of candidates rather than tribe, religion or election incentives. I point to its past support for Obasanjo, Yar’Adua and Jonathan as examples. I believe voters should reject leaders based on poor records and should not trade their votes for gifts or ethnic and religious appeals.
