Farmer Arrested After Fatal Altercation With Fulani Boy in Kaduna
Troops of Operation Enduring Peace have arrested a 33-year-old farmer after a fatal altercation with a Fulani boy in Ninzo South Ward, Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The incident reportedly occurred around 6:10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11. Troops stationed in the Raga area responded to a distress call and arrested the farmer at the scene. Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the boy's death. The suspect remains in military custody and is expected to be handed over to the appropriate authorities, while security personnel remain in the area to prevent reprisals between farming and herding communities.
