Time to Rebrand Nigeria as the 'Suffer-Head Republic'
I believe our country’s hardships have made “Nigeria” an ill-fitting name. From petrol at N1,400 a litre and a weak currency, to constant power cuts, bad roads, high unemployment and insecurity, life is full of struggle. Just as Eswatini changed its name from Swaziland and Holland became the Netherlands, I propose we start calling our nation the “Suffer-Head Republic” to shine a light on these challenges.
