Ebonyi Governor Warns New LG Chairmen Against Misusing Public Funds
Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has urged newly elected local government chairmen to serve with diligence, transparency and accountability. Speaking at a three-day capacity-building workshop in Abakaliki, the governor warned that public office should not be used for personal enrichment. He told the chairmen to make lawful decisions, resist pressure to act wrongly and remain focused on serving residents. Nwifuru said the choices they make in office will shape the legacy they leave behind.
