Iyovwaye Mourns Former Delta Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan
I received the news of former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s passing with a heavy heart. He was an elder brother and a respected leader with whom I shared a relationship built on mutual respect. Uduaghan served Delta State as Secretary to the State Government and later as governor from 2007 to 2015. His administration promoted the Delta Beyond Oil initiative and recorded contributions in healthcare, education, infrastructure and human capital development. I extend my condolences to his wife, children, family, the Itsekiri nation and the people of Delta State. May God grant his family strength and grant his soul eternal rest.
