Presidency Says Tinubu Is Working During Vacation Outside Nigeria

The Presidency says President Bola Tinubu is hale and hearty and continues to carry out official duties while on a working vacation abroad. Presidential adviser Bayo Onanuga said the President can work remotely through digital communication tools. He added that Tinubu has held meetings with investors in France and facilitated a proposed $7 billion deep-sea port project in Ogun Waterside. Onanuga said Tinubu delegated Nigeria’s representation at the UN General Assembly to Vice President Kashim Shettima. He added that the President is expected back in Nigeria during the week for Independence Anniversary activities and an event honouring the late MKO Abiola.
