Kanayo O. Kanayo Urges Review of Nigerian Police Checkpoints After Ghana Visit

After spending 10 days filming in Ghana, actor Kanayo O. Kanayo shared observations about how police checkpoints operate there compared with Nigeria. He said Ghanaian checkpoints appeared to be placed mainly at strategic locations. He contrasted this with the frequent checkpoints and questioning motorists may encounter in Nigeria, which he believes can leave visitors with a poor impression. While stressing that he was not trying to compare the two countries unfairly, he called for further improvements in the Nigeria Police Force and acknowledged reforms introduced by the Inspector-General of Police.
