2Baba’s Wife Natasha Osawaru Appointed Edo Assembly Minority Leader

Natasha Osawaru, who represents Egor Constituency, has been appointed Minority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly following a reshuffle of the chamber’s principal officers. The leadership change came after Blessing Agbebaku resigned as speaker amid reports of an impeachment move by lawmakers. Yekini Idaiyi, the member representing Akoko Edo II, was named as his replacement. Osawaru, who previously served as Deputy Majority Leader, said her new role is a trust that requires accountability, robust debate and strong advocacy for Edo residents. She is married to music star Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.
