Fulani Terror Group Threatens Bloodshed in Ugbegun Communities, Ondo State
On July 6–7, 2026, residents of Ugbegun and nearby farming settlements received a chilling letter from a Fulani terror group. The notice warned of planned attacks and bloodshed in Ugbegun communities. The threat has sparked panic among locals. Community leaders, traditional rulers, vigilante groups and security agencies have been alerted. Similar warnings were sent to communities in Kwara South before attacks occurred there. Communities along Ugbegun, Ekusi Oyo, Ojana, Ago Oyinbo and Amenhinti must form a joint security taskforce. I urge concerned citizens to support local vigilantes with funds for equipment. Together with Amotekun and other security units, they can patrol forests, set up checkpoints and protect residents.
