PDP Says It Is Engaging INEC Over Omitted 2027 Candidates

The Peoples Democratic Party says it is engaging the Independent National Electoral Commission over the omission of some of its candidates from the commission’s final list for the 2027 elections. The party said Isa Pantami and Oladipo Adebutu, listed as its governorship candidates in Gombe and Ogun states, were among those affected. A PDP spokesperson said the party is seeking a resolution in line with electoral laws and guidelines. Affected candidates and supporters were urged to remain calm while discussions with INEC continue.
