Ground Handlers Withdraw Services From XEJet Over Alleged ₦300m Debt

The Aviation Ground Handlers Association of Nigeria says its members have withdrawn services from XEJet Airlines over an alleged outstanding debt of about ₦300 million. The association said ground handling firms had accepted payment plans proposed by the airline’s management, but XEJet allegedly failed to meet the agreed terms. The withdrawal affects services such as baggage handling, passenger processing and ramp support. Reports indicate that some passengers’ luggage was moved through another airline as an alternative arrangement. XEJet had not publicly responded to the allegation or the service withdrawal at the time of the report.
