Police Officers Appeal for Better Pay, Welfare and Working Conditions

We congratulate members of the Nigerian Armed Forces on their reported salary increase. We also appeal to the Federal Government to give Nigeria Police Force personnel urgent attention on salaries, allowances, welfare and working conditions. Police officers work around the clock to protect lives and property, respond to emergencies, investigate crimes and confront violent threats. Many carry out these duties in difficult and dangerous conditions while supporting their families. We call for improved pay and allowances, decent accommodation, insurance, medical support, better equipment and safer working conditions. Properly supporting police personnel is essential to strengthening public safety and national security.
