Four Arrested Over Mob Burning of Man in Katsina

Four suspects have been arrested after a mob burned a man alive in Kokami village, Danja LGA, Katsina State. The incident began with a dispute between the victim, KC Joe, and Ibrahim Auwal. During the altercation, Joe stabbed Auwal. The injured man was taken to Abdullahi Makama Hospital in Dabai, where he later died. Following news of the death, local youths attacked Joe, killed him, and set his body on fire along the highway. Police spokesperson Abubakar Sadiq said the Katsina State Police Command has detained four people linked to the mob action. Commissioner Ali Fage condemned the violence and urged residents to report disputes to the police instead of taking the law into their own hands. He assured that the investigation will be thorough and that those responsible will face justice.
