Iranian Missile Strike Triggers Fire and Chemical Leak at Southern Israel Plant

Iranian Missile Strike Triggers Fire and Chemical Leak at Southern Israel Plant — 1 of 3
1 / 3

An Iranian missile struck a chemical facility in the Neot Hovav industrial zone in southern Israel. The blast sent up thick black smoke and caused a hazardous materials leak. Emergency teams reported one person lightly wounded. Specialized fire and rescue crews were dispatched to contain the leak and seal damaged tanks. Workers were told to shelter in place while authorities monitored chemical concentrations. Additional missiles were reported over central Israel and rockets fired from Lebanon into the north, but no further injuries were confirmed. Netanyahu asked for war and now faces its real costs. I doubt he has felt the pain of those whose homes and dreams are being destroyed in occupied Palestine.
