Police Trust Fund Empowers Junior Officers’ Spouses in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command has presented sewing machines, hair dryers, cash gifts and training certificates to spouses of junior police officers in Awka. The programme was sponsored by the Nigeria Police Trust Fund under a welfare initiative of the Inspector-General of Police. It is aimed at improving the well-being of police families and strengthening support for officers. Representing the Commissioner of Police, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration described the intervention as a morale booster for personnel and their dependants.
