Nigerian Army Neutralises 10 Terrorists in Plateau State Raid
The Nigerian Army says troops on Operation Wutan Daji neutralised at least ten terrorists during coordinated offensives in Wase and Kanam Local Government Areas of Plateau State. Troops targeted known terrorist corridors around Daba and Seri villages. They established blocking positions between Dutsen Zaki and Odare Forest and engaged militants moving on motorcycles in a firefight. Several insurgents were killed and others fled with suspected gunshot wounds. Following the encounter, soldiers recovered two motorcycles, 25-litre jerrycans of fuel, an AK-47 rifle and a loaded ammunition magazine. The army says it will maintain pressure on terrorist elements to restore peace in affected communities.
