Three Siblings Found Dead Near River at Ondo Farm

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the deaths of three siblings at a farm near Owena Army Barracks in Akure. Joshua Jonah and Jacob Jonah, both 11-year-old twins, and their five-year-old sister, Blessing Jonah, had accompanied their father to the farm on September 4. They reportedly left for home but were later discovered missing. After a search, their bodies were found near the bank of a small river within the farm on September 5. Police Commissioner Felix Ohagwu has ordered a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The police have urged parents and guardians to closely watch children around rivers, streams, ponds and other water bodies.
