Veekee James, Mercy Eke and More Make Bold Style Statements at BellaNaija’s 20th Anniversary
Veekee James, Mercy Eke, Prudent Gabriel, Mide Iwasokun and Osas Ighodaro brought dramatic fashion to BellaNaija’s 20th Anniversary Grand Red Carpet Experience. The “High Fashion Icon” theme inspired sculptural gowns, sharp tailoring, striking headpieces and detailed corsetry. Veekee James wore a custom oxblood leather coat-gown with exaggerated hips and a wide-brim hat. Mercy Eke chose an ice-blue velvet look with cobalt accents and pearl details, while Prudent Gabriel stepped out in an off-white corseted suit with sheer tulle pleating and a statement headpiece. Mide Iwasokun arrived in a sculptural white gown with a cascading train, while Osas Ighodaro wore an architectural ivory-and-gold corseted ballgown. Other guests, including Lydia Lawrence-Nze, Idia Aisien, Blessing Nze and Nelly Mbonu, also interpreted the theme with bold silhouettes and creative styling.
